Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010 He released four mixtapes from 2007 and 2010. The Cleveland artist, who can deliver songs as quickly as bullets, saw an explosive rise in the latter part of 2011 when he switched to self-publishing mixtapes instead of signing with reputable labels. After that, his career skyrocketed as each of his albums charted inside the top 10.
