Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actress, television presenter, artist on record as well as an entrepreneur. She received many accolades during her career. Her film work has led to her nominated for a total of 8 PMPC Star Awards in the Cinemas category as well as two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis played the role of Hiram Kampanerang in the films (2005), Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel was her role as Komiks legendary Dyesebel. She hosted It's Showtime at noontime between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne in Australia on 17th February, 1985. She is a Filipina and an Australian actress. The award-winning actress has won numerous awards throughout her career including two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. Additionally she has also been recognized for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards and 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred several television series, such as Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. The 2014 film Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she appeared as Dyesebel - a Komiks iconic character. Also, she has been the presenter on the popular noontime variety show It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian attorney. Born in Yarrawonga in Victoria, Australia. Her father married Ojales, a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan, in 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also is an actor. Clare passed away from a heart disease in 2007, when she was barely 4 months old.
